MTA and Other Statewide Agreements

Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA)

The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) was created in an effort to increase the transferability of core college courses between community colleges and four‐year colleges and universities.

Qualifying courses should be from the following categories:

• One course in English Composition
• A second course in English Composition or one course in Communications
• One course in Mathematics from one of three pathways: Pathway to Calculus (includes College Algebra), Statistics or Quantitative Reasoning. 
  • For students transferring to 正规的赌博app, we recommend the Pathway to Calculus for all programs. Most majors at Kettering will require additional Calculus courses for graduation. 参考我们的 学术项目 page for your specific program’s requirements.

• Two courses in Natural Sciences including one with laboratory experience (from two disciplines). 

  • For students transferring to 正规的赌博app, we recommend both Natural Science courses include laboratory experience (except the Management and Computer Science programs). Most STEM majors at 正规的赌博app will require Chemistry with lab (exceptions: BS 计算机工程, BS Computer Science and BS Management). Physics courses must be calculus-based.

• Two courses in Social Sciences (from two disciplines)
• Two courses in Humanities and Fine Arts (from two disciplines, excluding studio and performance classes). 
• 请注意: Complete Principles of Economics (can be either micro or macro) as one of your Social Science or Humanities courses (your college determines which category the course is in).

Other Statewide Transfer Articulation Agreements

Official transcripts must indicate the state's designation has been met or completed. We currently have approved the statewide agreements from:

• 伊利诺伊州(IAI或GECC)
• 印第安纳州(STEGC)
• 俄亥俄州(移动)
